How Can I Help?

3/7 - Court The Question
It has been said it is not as important that we find the answers to our questions as it is we “stay” in the question. In our willingness to inquire into the moment we discover the many layers to our mental patterns. Ultimately, we discover what is always there. This is one of the greatest ways we can help both ourselves and others.

3/14 - Loving What Is
When we open our heart to what arises, we provide the space for “love” to work its magic. Resisting nothing and embracing everything places us on that middle path of allowing everything to be as it is. How refreshing it is not to have to fix anything or anyone, but rather to accept, honor and even bless what is. What a help this is!

3/21 - What Does God (Love) Want?
Reverend Pam Herdy will bless us this Sunday with her organic wisdom forged from a life that continues to awaken amidst the suffering of the world. When she speaks there is a light that shines from her eyes. A giggle comes from her smile and beauty surrounds her as she moves. She is one of our resident angels. Come and drink from her cup.

3/28 - The Listening Mind
Instead of using the mind to reason, analyze and rationalize, what if we simply opened it as a silent space where listening could occur? One of the greatest ways to help is to listen. Not only do we create a space for others to be heard, but we also awaken an awareness that lies behind our mental chatter. Meditation is all about cultivating that “witness” consciousness that observes, listens and awakens to what is. This is so simple we often fail to do it, or should we say “be” it.

The Pathless Path

4/4 - Effort Or Grace?
Could this journey be easier than we think? Do we make it difficult? There is a Sufi saying that says, “All your efforts won’t get you to the first weigh station?” Why then do we struggle so? Have we been programmed into thinking only that which is worthwhile we have earned through much effort? A new mantra might just be; “Let it be easy”.

4/11 - This Is It
What if we realized there is nowhere to go and nothing to get? That would suggest whatever we are seeking already is. There is a Zen saying that goes; “This is it.” When we stop looking outside ourselves, we discover what we have been looking for is actually “that” which is looking. Dr. Ernest Holmes repeatedly reminded us of this simple truth. Step into the moment with us and awaken to what is and say YES.

4/18 - Unveiling The Truth Within
Phyllis Light will share the truth that has awakened within her. This Renaissance woman has a depth of wisdom that has been cultivated from a rich heritage as an herbalist, metaphysician, energy healer, mother and mystic. Words cannot describe this amazing soul. You are invited to experience within yourself something you already know and Phyllis has a way of reminding us of what we already know.

4/25 - Living Presence
Recently completing our Circle of Love Gathering retreat in the North Georgia Mountains, we will explore the many blessings that arose during that experience. Is this pathless path merely about opening to Presence and living as That? What arises then is an authentic awakening in the eternal now. What need of a path is there when you have arrived.
