To awaken in the dream of life is a possibility and an invitation that is always being offered in each moment. The questions is, “Are we saying – yes – when Life wants to wake us up?” At the Center we create opportunities for Spirit, Presence, Truth, Awareness, the awakening Essence…what Dr. Ernest Holmes called a “Feeling Void” to be revealed in moments of classes, services, workshops, meditations, etc.
Teachers will inspire as well as quicken consciousness during the next two months. Classes will commence with a return to the study of Ralph Waldo Emerson and his powerful teachings. He represents one of the roots of our spiritual philosophy. Emerson is the wine of Spirit and to drink from his words is to get intoxicated on poetic awareness that blossoms from within. Gangaji and Peter Kingsley will be honored as catalysts for Truth in September and October. The Sunday talks will explore their teachings and Wednesday evenings will show videos of both followed by Satsang.
Anthony Amrhein is a powerful teacher of the ancient art called meditation and he will resume Saturday morning meditations at 9:00AM in September. Doug Albright opens hearts and calms minds through Tai Chi on Mondays at 6:00PM. Both create space for emptiness and silence.
We are blessed to have two extraordinary, transforming and amazing teachers of Truth coming to our Center. Margaret Starbird is here the end of September. With her example as a woman who dares to look into the hidden truths of Christian roots, there is emerging an awakened realization of the feminine that is transforming traditional religious beliefs. Dr. Rick Moss works with consciousness and will be here in October. He helps folks free themselves of old mental and emotional layers that block our awakening.
We also have Founder’s Day in September, an Animal Blessing and a Master Class on World Religions.
We value all of your time in helping create this communal-container of Light soon to be renamed as a Center for Spiritual Living. The old name is no more. The new one will uniform all our Centers so we can be more recognizable in the world.
It takes a village of lovers to create a love fest. That is what it feels like at our Center every Sunday and throughout the week. May our heart open in the Presence as together we serve the One.
