David's Reflections
November - December 2008

During this time of global economic concern it is crucial that we focus our attention on the Truth and not be manipulated by appearances. The Bible instructs us: “whatsoever things are lovely and of good report, (to) think on these things.” We are being asked to shift our focus and be co-creators with the Universe by having an expanded perception of wholeness. Dr. Holmes tells us that this “perception of wholeness” is all healing. Do patterns have to die so that others might be born? Could we be experiencing a major shift in global consciousness? Is it time for a change of mind and heart? Can we welcome that new space of awareness that is being called forth?
Everything we embody at our Center is about that essential shift. Could we let the dream die and live Reality? In that place we would find that Awareness, Truth, Peace, Love and Joy are always there. We get to claim the innate wholeness of our Being.
The invitation is always open to dive into community with us and let your light fan the flame of our collective burning. As the light of awareness awakens in our hearts and minds, it can be carried forth into our world. There are many opportunities to receive and give this unfolding love, peace and joy. When two or more are gathered in the “name” (nature) of God, an energy field is created that not only is magnified greatly but can change the world.
On December 31 we will join with millions for World Peace Meditation to pray and meditate on world peace. Classes on Tuesdays and Satsangs on Wednesdays are here to serve the shift in perception.
In November we will have our FUNd raising auction with a tithe to building schools in Africa. We celebrate the holidays with a Candlelight Service on December 19.
There is a quickening taking place within us and all around. Say Yes with me as we surrender into this inner “shift” and welcome its inevitable reflection in the world. With the right attitude we will get everything we need on our path. This “shift” will take us to a new SPACE. Rumi calls the “field” where even the idea of “each/other” does not exist. “I will meet you there.”
Come “Home” with us for the holidays and be the blessing that you are in Truth.
